The 6th Joint Review Mission of NERCORMP was held from 23 April 2016 to 6 May 2016. This was the last review mission before the completion of the second phase of the Project.
Consultants from IFAD along with officials from the Project visited the districts and project villages to review the overall performance and effectiveness of the project and its achievements since the last supervision mission in May 2015. The mission visited 22 villages in six districts (West Khasi Hills, West Garo Hills, Ukhrul, Senapati, Karbi Anglong & Dima Hasao) in three States (Meghalaya, Manipur & Assam) to gain firsthand information on physical investments and interaction with project households and field staff of NERCORMP and NGOs. The recommendations and findings were discussed and agreed with the NERCORMP management team. The Mission shared its findings in a wrap-up meeting on 6th May 2016 chaired by Mr. Ram Muivah, IAS, Secretary NEC & Chairman, NERCRMS.
The overall project implementation performance is being rated satisfactory by the mission.
